KEFAC obtain "ISO 9001: 2015" in Quality Management

KEFAC obtained the ISO 9001: 2015 certification in the field of quality management, which is granted by the International Organization URS after it fulfilled all the requirements and passed the necessary quality test, thus KEFAC is one of the first companies to obtain an ISO certification in quality management in its field in Egypt. Dr. Moataz El-Kinawy, General Director of KEFAC received the certificate from the representative of the center accredited in Egypt by the international organization URS.

Eng. Gamal Mostafa, Director of Internal Control and Auditing of the company, said: The acquisition of KEFAC ISO 9001: 2015 in the field of quality management is the culmination of the continuous management of KEFAC in raising the level of the companys performance and achieving the required efficiency and sufficiency, and improving the level of relationship between the company and its customers and individuals in addition to enabling it to carry out a review of procedures and self-assessing them by applying international best practices in the quality management system. Eng. Gamal added that the application of certification requirements by KEFAC means that the company has developed and adopted an effective management system that is designed to develop performance and enhance competitiveness.

And on the companys acquisition of the new version of ISO 9001: 2015 certification, the URS agent said that the new version focuses on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the procedures followed by identifying and reducing potential risks, as the most important modifications that have occurred in them are risk-based thinking that contributes to increasing knowledge With the risks and opportunities surrounding the company and preparing for them, increasing the likelihood of achieving the goals, reducing the possibility of failure, and that preventive measures become a norm and a prevailing culture in the organization while ensuring the continuity of providing products and services in accordance with the requirements and increasing the confidence and satisfaction of customers.

It is noteworthy that the most important changes introduced in the quality management system ISO 9001: 2015 from the previous system 9001: 2008 are to restructure the requirements of the standard and divide it into 10 items that must be provided to achieve the highest percentage of the success of the system and the new standard of the quality management system has been focusing on some requirements as the need to activate the principles The following quality (leadership - planning - support - operations - performance evaluation - and development), and by activating these items and their processes, a quality management system is achieved, which results in developing departments and improving business in general.
